Muslims are about 3.2% of Australians, roughly 813,000 people at the 2021 census, and the South Asian share of that community — Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Fijian — has grown quickly with skilled migration.

Can my parents be involved?

Yes. Family can pay for a son’s membership, can see a Family View page you choose the contents of, and can speak to your matchmaker with your consent. What they can’t do is create or run a profile for someone who hasn’t agreed to it.

Can I filter by community and mother tongue?

Yes. Mother tongue, religion, community (with “caste no bar” always available), diet, family origin and residency status are all filters, and any of them can be a must-have.
