Both sides search. She sees his photos and his verification; he sees hers only when she approves. Contact details are never on the page. And when either of them would rather someone made the approach, that is what an introduction looks like.
Everyone on this page is a sample. The design is real.

Same product, two doors. The card tells you how many of your own preferences the person matches, which is a thing we can explain, instead of a percentage we would have to invent.

Why Harpreet thinks so
“You both said Sundays at your parents’ aren’t negotiable. He’s the one who cooks in his flat, which you said mattered. And you asked for someone who has built something — he started his own firm at 26 and still does the Saturday langar shift.”“She wants someone who has done hard things — you moved here at twelve and built a firm. You both cook, you both keep Sundays for family, and she is the first person I have spoken to who also thinks Hokitika is underrated.”
Something to ask him about: the six months he spent in Hokitika.
He can’t see your photos or message you unless you say yes.
Simran decides whether this goes further. You’ll hear either way within a week — Harpreet carries the answer, not an app notification.
Harpreet has opened a conversation for you both. She’ll check in after your first call.

Introduced to you by Harpreet, Auckland
Civil engineer · Melbourne
In his words
I came to Melbourne at twelve not speaking much English and spent the first year mostly watching cricket to learn it. I still think that was the right approach.
I started my own firm at 26 because I wanted to build things I could drive past. It is small and I like it that way. Outside work: the langar kitchen on Saturdays, my sister’s kids on Sundays, and one properly long drive somewhere every few months — the last one was the West Coast of the South Island, which I will talk about for too long if you let me.
I am looking for someone who is building something of her own, whatever that is, and who would rather laugh at my cooking than pretend it’s good.
At a glance
What matters to him, in order
Family close by
Sunday lunch at his parents’ is the fixed point of his week. He would like it to stay that way.
Building things
Left a salaried job at 26 to start his own practice. He is proud of it and doesn’t pretend otherwise.
Quiet faith
Practising, not preaching. Saturday langar shift, most Sundays at the gurdwara, and no interest in policing anyone else’s.
An equal
Both parents worked; he cooks better than his mother will admit. He isn’t looking for someone to run a house.
Children, in time
Yes, and not immediately. He would rather get the first two years right.

Harpreet’s note to you
“I spent forty minutes with Jasdeep. He is steadier than he is exciting, and I think that is what you told me you wanted after last time. Ask him about the West Coast and see if you can get a word in.”
On the Family View link, parents see this page with the photos and the matchmaker’s note removed — exactly what she chooses to show them.
